•Mazel tov to the Goodman family on the birth of a grandson, Ari, on April 30 to Clara and Danny. He weighed in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches at birth!

•Mazel tov to the Rosenthal family on Josh's graduation with distinction from Emory University, majoring in business. He is now working at Citibank in New York.

•Mazel tov to the Bardash family on the birth of their granddaughter, Meira Rivka Ausubel , born to daughter Elana and her husband, Yoni Ausubel on Friday, June 20. She was 7 lbs., 2 oz, and 19 inches.

•Mazel tov to the Tepper family on Jeffrey’s Bar Mitzvah on June 28.

•Mazel tov to the Lubin and Suffin families on Mendel’s 3rd birthday and Upsherenish on June 29.

•Mazel tov to Dr.Veronica Bikovsky for being honored with the prestigious Jefferson Award for Public Service. She was honored for her work as a volunteer and advocated for the handicapped, and serving as a trustee for the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped.

•Mazel tov to the Bardash family on the photo taken by Reuters of grandson Yoni in Yahoo! News. He was shown supporting John McCain for President.

•Mazel tov to the Bardash family on Kory’s article in the Jerusalem Post, “Beating plowshares into swords: Where does Obama's foreign policy take us?” It was coauthored by Abraham Katsman.

•Mazel tov to Daniel Golovin and his family on passing his Ph.D. thesis defense at Carnegie Mellon University. His thesis topic was: “Uniquely Represented Data Structures, with Applications to Privacy.” Daniel will do research and teach with a post-doc appointment at Carnegie Mellon for a year.

•Mazel tov to Nora and Seth Tillman and family on their move to Wilkes-Barre, PA and Seth's new job with the federal magistrate court.

•Mazel tov to Miles Levin and the Rotter and Levin families on passing the certifying exams given by the American Board of Pathology.

•A BIG MAZEL TOV to Jason Mendelsohn for completing his first year at University at Albany on the Dean's List for Distinguished Scholars and for successfully completing EMT training. Jason is a pre-med student working on his Bachelor of Science in Biology.

•Mazel tov to Shani Mendelsohn for making Montclair State University Women's Volleyball team, and yes, Shani is excused as always, on Shabbos and Yom Tov.

•Mazel tov to the Braverman family on the birth of a grandson to Brigitte and Brian Pomerlan on September 9.

•Mazel tov to Avram Levitt on earning his 1st degree black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do..
